The main objective of the DigiAgro3 project is to develop a powerful regional ecosystem of companies that together form the new value chain for the development, supply and use of agrobots, and that can (continue to) develop their innovative products and services in collaboration with the regional knowledge institutions. ‘Agrobots’ means autonomous systems for use in agriculture and horticulture. . In the project, this knowledge development on the four key technologies (soft grippers, vision technology, AI-based software & digital twinning, advanced control) will be developed in interaction with the development of prototypes for 4 specific use cases: Autonomous disease detection in potatoes; Autonomous control of weeds with cooperating drones; Robotised harvesting of soft fruit crops; Autonomous crop growth monitoring.
