The Qrotor project focuses on the development and implementation of innovative Qrotor technology for gas-free residential heating. The technology developed by Qnergy is more efficient than traditional heat pumps, delivers higher temperatures and requires less structural adjustments to the home. The focus is on older, less insulated homes to make them gas-free without major renovations, resulting in significant cost savings. The project is located in TRL 6 and covers several phases from technical preparation to implementation in an existing home and evaluation, with strong regional connections focused on sustainable energy and economic growth in the Northern Netherlands.
