The INDI-Ecosystem project has developed a circular and sustainable alternative for disposable diapers in healthcare. The project resulted in a washable incontinence product (INDI) with proven functionality and comfort, combined with innovative washing and distribution processes that remove drug residues. Through the active involvement of healthcare staff and the recognition of policy makers, the system offers a scalable solution for a waste-free and dignified care environment.
