The demonstration project is based on the use of a tyre drying system for flower bulbs. A tire-drying installation is being built consisting of 19 conveyor belts of 2 meters wide and 12 meters long. These are built on top of each other. The design is such that flower bulbs are spread on top of the band and in a maximum of two hours where the now hand-dry bulbs can be further processed.
