Diplora ambulatory ECG monitoring system

There are 373,700 people in the Netherlands who know that they have atrial fibrillation (AF). Every year, nearly 29,000 patients are hospitalized for atrial fibrillation and there are more than 27,000 daily admissions for treatment of atrial fibrillation. More men than women. This makes AF the most common heart disease. We provide an early detection solution to prevent more serious situations. The aim of this project is to complete the development and certification of the portable Dutch Cardiomo ECG system (ECG sensor, consumer App, analysis platform and connection software with EHR). With the long-term goal of putting a concept on the market for 'Virtual one-and-a-half-line Heart Care'. Virtual in the sense that it will not concern physical heart care but that it will be heart care that uses mHealth equipment and analysis software that can be used in the home situation.
