VonWood wants to develop "trading platform 3.0" to transform the wood trade into a data-driven trade. It consists of a data model and three applications based on it (pricing engine, matching engine and recommendation engine). The innovation aims to accelerate innovation within the digital transition by putting data science and AI into practice. In addition, the innovation fulfils a key technology in the sustainability transition by making the circular raw material wood available at an improved affordable price.
