Circular care: Innovative implementation of sustainable incontinence care in The Hague Southwest Priovention develops an innovative implementation strategy for circular care innovations in the GTI area The Hague Southwest. Central is the INDI, a sustainable washable incontinence product that replaces disposable diapers. Through participatory research and co-creation with healthcare workers, clients and local stakeholders, an approach is developed that is in line with the socio-cultural context. The project not only aims to reduce waste, but also creates support for sustainable transitions in complex urban environments. Innovative elements are the integration of youth participation and the development of a mentoring programme focusing on awareness and work experience in the circular economy. The results serve as a blueprint for future implementations, with which the project contributes to broader urban and economic development. This integrated approach links technological innovation with social innovation and contributes to a more sustainable and inclusive care sector.share on FacebookTwitterLinkedinEmailreport an issue
