Solar systems are currently mainly used on sloping and flat roofs. Given the energy transition, it is important to look at alternative options. For consumers, their own generation of wind energy is completely out of reach. This project looks at a system that can significantly increase the efficiency of household systems. In addition, it is necessary that energy-generating systems fit seamlessly into the environment in which they are applied and connect to already existing systems. This requires standardization in the field of construction and installation technology. This project focuses on product development of low-cost thermal collectors: the Build-In Thermal collector, or BIT changer for short. By developing easily applicable semi-finished products that can be applied in or behind building materials of products such as roof tiles and other roofing, facades, roof terraces and solar panels. The BIT can be made at a low price and is able to achieve efficiency at lower temperatures.
