The construction sector requires sustainable materials and material use, digital design strategies for sustainable building, adapted role patterns in the chain and new ways of working together. This project focuses on all aspects of the ecosystem to develop and realise circular, sustainable buildings. The production chain is divided into three main steps: 1) Biobased raw material manufacturing; 2) sustainable building design based on module manufacturing parameters and; 3) the assembly to modular and circular backWIN dwellings. In three types of demonstration homes, the intended innovations will be implemented, tested and validated over the next three years.
