A consortium of TreMalin Plastics Industrial, Transmare Compounding, Nouryon, Veridis Technologies and Broos Water is working on an innovative recycling process for post-consumer PE and PP waste, with the aim of upgrading it to high-quality raw materials for extrusion blow moulding. Veridis supplies the MADSCAN for detailed analysis, while Nouryon provides specialized peroxides to extend polymer chains and increase the quality of recycled plastics. The project demonstrates the application by producing Rainblocks from at least 80% recycled material and thereby contributes to the circular transition and CO2 reduction in the southern Netherlands.
