The aim of this project is to develop new humidification technology for ventilation equipment that makes it possible to control the humidity and temperature very accurately. In addition, it is possible to administer medication at the same time. When patients can no longer breathe independently, it may be necessary to use ventilators. When breathing, it is important that the administered air is moistened and heated to prevent damage to the lungs. With existing humidification equipment, the possibilities are limited. These systems have a fairly limited range and are not or not well adjustable. This can have enormous consequences for the health of the patient.
