MyoStride: portable HD-EMG in practice In this project, the project partners develop a sock that can measure muscle activity in the lower leg of rehabilitation patients. This allows doctors and physiotherapists to adjust the recovery trajectory of a patient on time, for example if a muscle group does not recover properly. The measurements in the sock are made using electrodes and motion sensors. Based on the data from the sensors, algorithms can be used to recognize the activities of the various muscles. Tailor-made software translates this into useful information for doctors and physiotherapists. If the project succeeds, the measurement of muscle activity will become affordable and applicable for a very large group of patients for the first time, and the technology will contribute to affordable and better care.share on FacebookTwitterLinkedinEmailreport an issue
