CircuLEV

The aim of the CircuLEV project is to develop a 100% circular Last Mile Electric Vehicle (LEV). The European last mile delivery market is growing rapidly and it is expected that in 10 years most of the vehicle fleet will be electric. The unique feature of this vehicle is the batteries and the software management for the batteries. The batteries do not require maintenance, have a very long service life and can supply energy back to the electricity grid. In addition, the vehicle is made of recyclable and recycled composites. A number of prototypes are currently being developed. With this project, multiple prototypes need to be tested, validated and further developed to get one step closer to market introduction. The consortium, consisting of Duracar (Apeldoorn), Saxion University of Applied Sciences (Enschede), Compoform (Apeldoorn) and E-Pal Tech (Malden), wants to be the first to come on the market with a 100% circular light commercial vehicle.
