In the BASgas project, a mobile gas processor in combination with a nitrogen stripper is demonstrated at two medium-sized dairy farmers. With the gas generator, it is feasible to produce green gas and connect it to the national green gas chain. The installation consists of a mobile gas processor to operate the biogas on the yard, purify it and compress it into bottle bundles. BASgas then transports the gas to a green gas feeding point. In addition, a nitrogen stripper is used to demonstrate that it will be possible for medium-sized dairy farmers to realize an almost closed nitrogen cycle. This demonstration is an important step to reduce CO2 and nitrogen in dairy farmers on a large scale.
