The ‘Rawseed 2.0’ project aims to develop new processing technologies for rapeseed. Rapeseed is a strong and proven resting or rotation crop, which contributes to sustainable agriculture. Compared to other resting crops (wheat, barley, hemp), it has more economic potential for agriculture if new complementary product chains are developed. In this project, multiple rapeseed valorisation is applied on a local scale, leaving the processing chain in its own hands. This brings new opportunities for farmers and contributes to biodiversity on land.
