In order to meet the Jönköping region's and Gotland's common need to increase the sustainable growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in new markets, Almi Jönköping and Almi Gotland, together with other export-promoting actors, have designed the project; International accelerator - Jönköpings län & Gotland. The overall goal is to increase the proportion of SMEs in Jönköping County and Gotland that have sustainable growth in markets outside Sweden. The project is primarily aimed at SMEs that have internationally viable offers, clear ambitions and resources to implement their international initiatives. Companies that already export and want to expand to other markets and/or customer segments are also in the primary target group. The project's efforts will promote sustainability-driven and more gender-equal business development in all industries in Jönköping County and on Gotland. Great emphasis will be placed on a good regional distribution and a more even distribution in terms of gender, ethnicity and age among the target group.
