The aim is to increase the knowledge and ability of SMEs in Gävleborg to switch to flexible forms of work that contribute to increased attractiveness and innovation capacity. This is done through cross-border innovation collaborations between the University of Gävle, Region Gävleborg, innovation promoters and the target group regional SMEs. Step 1 of the innovation work is a mapping of opportunities and challenges with flexible working arrangements at SMEs (measurement, analysis and feedback). Stage 2 is joint knowledge development in the form of seminars, workshops and workshops intended to inspire, explore and develop innovative solutions at SMEs. After the project, the companies have gained increased knowledge of flexible working arrangements and identified solutions to apply flexible working arrangements in a sustainable way that leads to increased innovation capacity. In addition, collaboration between academia, industry and the public sector has been strengthened. The results of the project are communicated regionally, nationally and internationally.
