In order to meet the demands of the new era, game developers in the north need to collaborate with FOU. The target group shows great interest in accessing cutting-edge technology, but existing test beds are difficult to access. There is therefore a need to create flexible innovation environments where gaming SMEs at intersections with other sectors can contribute to innovation, technology and service development and thus continued growth. The project goal is to establish a testbed cluster in game technology and methodology, which through innovation at intersections and increased exchange between sectors strengthens technology and service development in the game industry and other industries. The innovation capacity of SMEs is increased by increasing access to innovation environments and strengthening knowledge of cutting-edge gaming technology. The overall objective is to contribute to increased innovation capacity and more competitive SMEs in Upper Norrland, through smarter use of advanced gaming technology and improved innovation capacity that accelerates the green transition.
