The project is a follow-up project of E-Drive, Development of electric powertrains, IDnr-20292524, which focuses on a theory of change aimed at solving two challenges in the electrification of the vehicle fleet: the great need for durable, magnetic materials in electric motors and control systems for the electric motor. The project creates a regional resource for streamlining and sustainable development of electric powertrains and thus means a long-term investment by University West to support regional SMEs in the focus area through strengthened competitiveness and competence supply, based in Trollhättan. Through the continued work, the project leaves behind the theoretical preliminary work and static experimental verifications and now goes in with greater focus on full-scale dynamic verified experiments of the new solutions and several important goals are thus achieved on several different levels.
