ShiftLabs is one of the European Digital Innovation Hubs established in Europe. This project aims to strengthen the Swedish manufacturing industry, specifically small and medium-sized manufacturing companies. The focus is on small and medium-sized manufacturing companies is important as this is a category of companies that need extra support in adopting digital technologies to be competitive and reach their sustainability goals. The project gathers resources and competencies through already capable regional technology centers to through collaboration further increase and improve offerings to the manufacturing industry in Sweden. The establishment of a European innovation hub will also strengthen the international connectivity of stakeholders, thereby further strengthening the provision of services to industry. The project will deliver results related to test beds, support in the introduction of digital tools, and competence development.
