Digital health enables both safer and more efficient healthcare, with the ability to meet demographic societal challenges to make healthcare more accessible and equitable. To reach their potential, companies, academia and the public sector need to be better able to use health data in the development of health-related services, products and their own operations. The challenges lie in both the availability of data and a lack of knowledge and skills. The purpose of Health Data Sweden is to accelerate the use of services that enable small and medium-sized companies together with the public sector to develop new health and welfare services. The result is better health for the individual. The consortium consists of 18 partners; regions, universities, innovation environments and institutes that today constitute a solid ecosystem in Sweden.
