IoT lab for SMF 2.0

The project addresses the challenge that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Småland are characterized by weak growth and need to invest in growth and innovation. The project goal is to develop an ecosystem in the Linnaeus region that, through both knowledge-raising and practical activities within the Internet of Things (IoT), gives SMEs the opportunity to take important steps on their digital development journey within a society-changing technology area. By ecosystem, we mean creating a well-established network within IoT of companies that can benefit from each other's expertise and products within the region. The project's work package aims to increase the level of knowledge about IoT, both at a basic level and a deeper technical level, which gives SMEs the opportunity to streamline their operations, reduce their cost mass and reduce their carbon footprint. The business package around business models gives companies deeper insight into how technology can affect their existing business, and how they can develop new products or services.
