The collaboration project between Gotlands United Hospitality Industry and Growth Gotland is based on a need to strengthen the Gotland hospitality industry's companies in their development of sustainable business models. It consists of two different business development programs and efforts to support companies' efforts to attract and retain talent. By providing companies with knowledge, contacts and ways of working, 30 SMEs are expected to have made a commitment to being a Sustainable Plejs, another 30 companies are expected to have developed ways of working for talent attraction. In addition, companies and other actors in the tourism industry are expected to be able to make decisions about future initiatives aimed at strengthening the tourism industry's cooperation with the education system.
