Through needs-based activities, the project will increase the ability of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to use advanced digitalization to develop their operations in an economically, ecologically and socially sustainable way and thereby contribute to a sustainable society within East Central Sweden's challenge areas. The challenges of taking advantage of the opportunities offered by digitalisation are the same for small and medium-sized companies as for large companies. The difference is that larger companies have more resources. To ensure that we continue to have a diversified and competitive business sector in the future, appropriate support structures need to be developed into SMEs in digitalisation. The project will be based on the platforms within AI, Cybersecurity and IoT but intends to create the conditions to implement a more cohesive digital innovation hub consisting of collaboration with several parties in ÖMS with joint offers to SMEs.
