Green Transition North - circular economy

Green Transition North - Circular Economy (GTN-CE) implements forward-looking circular economy activities for green transition with the local and regional business community in the form of SMEs, large companies, business promotion actors and LTU divided into 6 activities, in recycling through hydrometallurgy, digital product passports, modularization, circular business models, sensor fusion and 6G for optimized production processes. The idea is to make maximum use of the large-scale investments that are now being made within the green transition in Upper Norrland. The project focuses on research, development and innovation among the region's SMEs to strengthen competitiveness and relevance in the ongoing green industrial and societal transformation. GTN-CE brings together the key stakeholders in the green transition with their need for knowledge needed to create business and products and services that have maximum circularity, i.e. minimal need for non-renewable resources, and use fossil-free energy.
