The project is about how Upper Norrland can meet the challenges of fossil dependence in the transport sector, by: - clarify where the major regional transport buyers consider that the need is greatest for sustainable fuels, in areas that are difficult to electrify - in dialogue with the transport value chain, identify which fuel is most relevant, so that both the entire value chain and new fuel manufacturers know where the greatest regional interest is. - investigate and create conditions for the production of sustainable fuels in northern Sweden market, technology, raw material, energy, location and a business case. - support those who want to establish themselves, as well as those who want to contribute with conditions, with knowledge transfer and access to collaborative arenas and networks. Norrbotten Chamber of Commerce, as a business promoter, is the primary target group. They have members in the logistics value chain who are good at logistics, but not as familiar with how we create the conditions for regional production of sustainable fuels.
