Knowledge-driven agriculture in the West

The project will develop cluster collaboration within the green industries, strengthen support structures for disseminating research results and best practice, and increase collaboration between research actors and companies active in the agricultural industry in western Sweden. Through the development of Agroväst Gröna Möten, effective meeting places are created that strengthen the dissemination of knowledge to the industry. Through the development of Agroväst's research and innovation programme, the dialogue between research and companies is strengthened, and new collaborative initiatives are initiated. The goal is that the agricultural industry in western Sweden will have better conditions to embrace and implement new ways of working, methods and techniques that contribute to increased profitability and set environmental and climate goals. The war in Ukraine, the pandemic and high prices of energy, inputs and fuels have brought to the fore the need to increase our self-sufficiency in food, feed and renewable energy. Climate change is also driving the need for increased resilience in the industry.
