Design a gender equality platform with methods and tools for the designated smart specializations (Forest Bioeconomy, Digital Health Innovation, Advanced Manufacturing and Complex Systems, Attraction through Sustainable Place Development, Sustainable System Solutions with Solar Power in the Center, Food in Sustainable Interaction, Computer Games and Gamification) for Värmland. The platform will work to ensure that the specialisations integrate the gender perspective into roadmaps, policies and, in the long term, drive the work itself to a more inclusive and gender-equal working life. Based on the Gender Equilty Redeness Level (GERL) method where the following indicators are measured and followed up (organisation, objectives, indicators, analyses, representation, allocation of resources, communication and activities). Gender equality is crucial for Värmland's attractiveness when it comes to meeting the need for skills supply and breaking the gender-segregated labour market. There is therefore a need for a clearer ownership of the gender equality issue in the specialisations.
