The goal of SWEET is a centre for carbon dioxide reduction. The centre will coordinate world-class university research with industrial strategy to tackle climate change caused by high CO2 emissions. The vision is a lighthouse for knowledge generation and implementation of carbon dioxide reduction technology. Through a strong collaboration platform with actors from academia, public sector and industry, we believe that the centre can be a strong force for Sweden to reach its climate goals, but also an engine for economic growth. The concrete goal of this pre-study will be to have a highly effective consortium of relevant key actors ready to apply for funding.
