Good and close care is an agreement between the state and Sweden's municipalities and regions on a transition for a sustainable healthcare system. Digitalisation and the role of industry in developing solutions are highlighted as an important contribution to the success of this journey of change. Innovations for close care therefore aim to strengthen the innovation capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through actions that create the conditions for industry to support the transition. The project is based on a common learning where industry, academia, region, municipality and civil society work together, and where each actor contributes with their expertise. In the project, we will integrate research into the development of different solutions, provide access to experts and users in health, healthcare and social care and visualize different pathways through healthcare in order for industry to develop attractive and competitive solutions that accelerate the transition to close care.
