The project aims to increase productivity and competitiveness for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in manufacturing in Region Kronoberg and Region Kalmar County by promoting innovation, automation and digitalisation, which contributes to companies taking important steps towards Industry 4.0. The project offers short awareness-raising activities and promotes technology diffusion in an existing demonstration plant. Through long-term investments, SMEs will be better equipped to meet future challenges, seize opportunities in automation and digitalisation, and manage global competition and societal changes. The project also aims to improve the conditions for sustainable production that takes into account environmental, economic and social perspectives. The results of the project's efforts are expected to lead to new innovative methods for product realisation, create new jobs and contribute to companies developing new products, processes and business models.
