Game Attraction North 2023

Large national focus is now on the industrial establishments in Northern Sweden, which require a massive influx into the region. For this to succeed, a diversified and broad labour market is required, which a strong and competitive gaming industry under growth will entail. The gaming industry is part of the cultural and creative industries. If we can increase the number of jobs in the industry, we will have a more diversified labour market in the region. In the work packages New establishment, Expansion, Innovation and Reduce inequality in the region, we will work with a palette of different activities to strengthen the target group (small and medium-sized companies in the gaming industry, in the region Norr- och Västerbotten) and thereby reach the project goal. The goal is to create a viable and growing gaming industry in the region with new innovations, more international agreements and more employees. This contributes to the region’s attractiveness, increased gender equality and inclusion, green transition and a diversified labour market.
