Matlust Living Lab will provide 95 SMEs in the food sector that can meet the Stockholm region's needs for environmentally, climate- and health-friendly food with increased knowledge and ability to work with innovation, new and developed products, production methods and business models, as well as more energy- and resource-efficient production that contributes to a sustainable industrial transition. The target group is in Stockholm County, and to some extent in Sörmland and other counties. They are offered targeted development programs, test beds, food competitions as well as open events and conferences. The project is carried out by Matlust Utvecklingsnod, part of Södertälje Municipality's Business Department, and cooperates closely with public meal operations in the municipality. The secondary target group includes public meal operations, which demand the products developed by the target group companies. Close collaboration with various research projects and other support actors strengthens the knowledge and networking part of the project and raises awareness of the impact of food on the environment and health.
