The project will deepen cooperation between companies, public actors and academia at Klimatarena Stockholm with a focus on developing and scaling up circular construction projects in Stockholm County. The aim is to promote a circular economy in the construction sector and contribute to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and the use of resources. For many, circular construction involves a new process that requires new ways of working and collaboration. The project will support companies and municipalities in Stockholm County in identifying, implementing and scaling up measures for a circular construction process through collaboration on demonstration projects provided by participating need owners based on two questions: 1) How do we share and spread success factors from circular construction projects in Stockholm County that make us go from individual pilot projects to scale-up and industry standards? 2) What does a circular urban construction process look like and what is needed to enable circular construction?
