The project aims to lead the transition to a circular economy through Twin Transition and the goal is to improve research and innovation capacity in West Sweden by using digitalisation as a tool. The project works broadly with anchoring in different industries but focuses on the fast-moving textile and fashion industry as the main industry for testing and development. The project will support at least 80 circular economy SMEs by offering direct actions that promote their circular transition and profitability development. Companies will gain a better understanding of the use phase of products and support for automated second-hand industry. Digital technology plays a central role in the project by collecting and analyzing data on product use to develop new circular business models. The expected results include the development of new business models, increased use of digital technology and a strengthened second-hand industry.
