3D Action 2.0 will continue to contribute to the achievement of the vision that the Additive Manufacturing Application Center is striving towards: to create a world-leading position for Swedish industry in additive manufacturing (AM). The overall project objective is to contribute to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Västra Götaland region increasing their opportunities to make investments and investments in intelligent technology in the field of AM. The project contributes to SMEs increasing their ability to procure for the commercialization of sustainable and digital solutions, which increase their competitiveness through the innovation potential AM offers. The project also strengthens cooperation between SMEs in the region and with academia, business promoters, public organisations and large corporate actors that primarily represent business development, practical application of manufacturing, perspectives on sustainability and innovations. The project leads to SMEs receiving the right support in the transition to AM technology for a more competitive business.
