Export is a tool to increase both individual companies' and Dalarna's competitiveness and can contribute to the planet's sustainability. The project aims to create the best conditions and a proactivity for strengthened export capacity in Dalarna. The goal is to increase sustainable exports from the region by inspiring, raising knowledge and offering a clear and accessible export promotion system for the benefit of companies. This is done by further developing regional support structures and offering initiatives directly to companies where the regional export promotion actors collaborate. The movement we want to see among the target group of small and medium-sized enterprises is increased export maturity. This is done by acquiring knowledge about the meaning of sustainable exports, how they can reduce the risk in their export business and what support is available in their export process. At the end of the project, there must be companies that have started moving at least part of their export journey and preferably have already entered a new market.
