This pre-study aims to create a guidance and strategy that will lead to larger collaborations regionally, nationally and within EU programs to support the development of regional companies, including deeptech companies, operating in Region Östergötland's (RÖ) smart specialization area Advanced Materials . Three focus areas are covered: skills provision, market establishment and sustainable transition (from a material and production perspective). Strong innovation actors, together with Region Östergötland, will identify appropriate EU initiatives and long-term partnerships for growth, innovation and sustainable development. The goal is to promote innovation, growth and sustainable production and material management based on increased access to expertise in advanced materials. The study's long-term goal is to intensify the work with Region Östergötland's roadmap for the area Advanced Materials and contribute to national material development, material production and access to end products.
