Most companies and organizations have since about 10 years expressed needs and wishes to Mid Sweden University that they want to increase their sustainability. To succeed, more skills, networks and collaboration with research are needed to further increase innovation capacity, competitiveness and sustainable entrepreneurship, thereby accelerating sustainable growth. Furthermore, the project builds on a broader allocation on sustainability. This means that the concept of sustainability is reflected and focused on sustainable environment, social sustainability and sustainable innovation/entrepreneurship. The overall objective is to increase the ability of the participating parties to achieve greater sustainability. The goals are different for the participating parties, but the common key is that with increased knowledge about sustainability through research-oriented cooperation, competitiveness and innovation capacity will increase in both the region and nationally. H3 brings together companies in Jämtland Härjedalen and Västernorrland in a major effort to increase sustainability.
