The energy system of the future requires greater interaction with energy use, which means that systems for interaction with energy use (energy flexibility) need to be strengthened. Project Elkraft Värmland will increase understanding and facilitate the transition to smart energy systems by analysing and processing today's future energy challenges. The goal of the project is to support a broad and inclusive transition to smart energy systems through collaborative efforts and joint knowledge building, as well as efforts aimed at actors who want to take a more active role in the energy value chain. The actors' different roles are important for the implementation of the project and Region Värmland's intention is to connect the grip on the energy issue for Värmland and guide the work with the help of the network Elkraft Värmland where business-promoting actors, public organizations and companies are included to find out what measures are needed to be able to use the energy system in a more efficient way.
