Region Dalarna, municipalities and innovation and business-promoting organisations carry out awareness-raising and advisory projects aimed at strengthening the ability of small and medium-sized enterprises to transition to a resource-efficient and circular economy. The framework project complements the existing project portfolio by offering business support to companies striving to move from improved adaptability to actual behavioural change. The support focuses on companies that want to make energy-efficient and/or material-efficient investments. These investments should promote circular processes, products and services, which in turn allow for extending the lifespan of resources, reusing resources and reducing the amount of waste going to landfill. The project aims to establish a natural link between projects and business support to make it easier for transition-ready companies to transition from linear to circular business models.
