The project contributes to meeting the Stockholm region's challenges for long-term sustainable development by supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in sustainable circular, fossil-free business and operational transitions. The project promotes the transition to a circular economy for a greener Europe and a resource-efficient resilient Stockholm region without climate-impacting emissions as a leader in the circular economy. Selected Agenda 2030 targets: 5, 12 and 13. The measures strengthen companies' long-term competitiveness by starting to adapt their operations based on the circular economy and the three dimensions of sustainability. Transformational skills are developed through group activities and an educational circular business tool. They are carried out in an industry-independent manner, and from a gender equality and diversity perspective, which provides opportunities for networking with exchange of ideas, benchmarking and resource collaboration. Collaboration with other actors from all over the county will take place and based on the broad network of actors that has been built up.
