The pre-study will give municipalities better conditions to work with adaptation to a changed climate by using the method Framtidsbilder. The pre-study wants to investigate whether the method can be used as a basis to enable discussion of the issue of adaptation to a changing climate that is very complex and where many actors need to cooperate. The municipalities in Västerbotten County have very different prerequisites with the question. We hope that the preliminary study contributes to a common understanding of the challenges that exist so that several actors feel involved in what is required to reduce the effects of climate change. During five workshops, we, together with the municipalities, develop future images of what a climate-adapted Västerbotten will look like in 50 years. After the preliminary study, the method is evaluated and experiences can be used in future projects.
