Collaborative Research for Regional Development The project will strengthen industry's research collaboration with Region Gotland and Uppsala University in a triple helix structure. The project contributes new knowledge to companies and removes obstacles to sustainable development, which strengthens Gotland's business community in their R&D work. The project also strengthens research and development capacity in relation to the regional development mission (RUA) linked to the implementation of the regional development strategy. The project objective is to strengthen Gotland SME's through increased collaboration with academia and the public sector, where new knowledge contributes to resilience and sustainable development. The project establishes a working model that strengthens the ability of industry, Uppsala University and Region Gotland to collaborate in research projects and creates the conditions for new research initiatives.
