The project aims to provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Stockholm region with tools and knowledge to integrate circular processes into their operations. Despite increased awareness of the circular economy among SMEs, there is a lack of practical tools to facilitate the transition. The aim of the project is to evaluate, test and introduce new circular processes at SMEs in the construction/food sector. In the project, Coompanion with Södertörn University (SH), Stockholm Business Region and the Business Office in Huddinge municipality will investigate the effectiveness of existing methods and develop and test new innovative processes and disseminate these results to business promoters and support organizations. The project will create test environments where SMEs can experiment with and demonstrate new circular methods/processes. In this collaboration, SH will, among other things, compile research on circular economy models and provide support in applying the models to companies' processes.
