The pre-study will contribute to making Norra Mellansverige a more sustainable region. Based on Dalarna, the activities will provide answers to the preliminary study's questions that create a basis for a longer project that will make public organizations and small and medium-sized enterprises become a better part of the circular economy and the market through circular public procurement. The transformative capacity of public organisations needs to be developed for resource-smart management where circular public procurement is the norm. This leads to an increased demand for circular products and services and thus also strengthens the competitiveness of companies. Learning between public actors and with and between companies is developed based on the possibilities of circular public procurement. The target groups in the planned implementation project are involved in the pre-study activities. It is made gender- and diversity-integrated, and that it contributes to sustainability goals and sustainable development.
