Happier - for the plate, the body and the ball The project aims to increase sustainability through an investment in innovation and development of food based on plant-based/alternative proteins. The project contributes to increased innovation capacity and degree of processing in the area, as well as strengthened competitiveness, increased livelihood capacity and new jobs. A new recipe for the protein shift is one of Vinnova's innovation platforms for transformation into a more sustainable and innovative food system. The project provides SMEs in the food industry with knowledge, inspiration and opportunities for collaboration within the food chain and academia - to create the conditions for innovations that meet market needs. With increased capabilities, processes for innovation are expected to start in plant-based/alternative proteins in the region.
