The county has a rich entrepreneurship, but exposed to transformational pressures driven by factors such as the transition to sustainable and resource-efficient consumption, the opportunities of digitalisation and new business conditions, as well as the recession. The project will apply support for the use of external services via business development vouchers, which strengthen competitiveness and adaptability through advice and financial support in at least 67 companies. This is done by increasing companies’ export maturity and resilience, facilitating the green transition, developing new business models and promoting the development of new products and services. After an initial assessment of employees at the Region and Almi, the companies may present their initiative to a decision-making group composed of actors with good expertise in the issues, after which decisions on support are announced. The project is aimed broadly at small and medium-sized enterprises both in the county's designated specialisation areas but also in other areas.
