Pre-study Game cluster on Gotland

The pre-study for Game Cluster on Gotland aims to strengthen the gaming industry's innovation and growth in the long term through increased collaboration and access to resources, in line with the "Implementation program for business conditions and innovation" and Vår Gotland 2040. The goal is to make Gotland a leading centre for game development by addressing challenges such as financing, infrastructure, innovation environments and talent attraction. The target group includes SMEs, game developers, the education sector, public actors and investors. Activities include market research, mapping and analysis, networking and pilot projects. Expected results are increased understanding of the impact of access to capital, stronger industrial networks, innovation environments and the positioning of Gotland as an attractive game development hub, as well as a concrete roadmap for establishing a game cluster on Gotland that contributes to the region's economic growth and innovation.
