The project will create a nationally scalable regional node for the development and commercialization of innovations in foodtech and in the borderland between life science/health and food, which will contribute primarily to two of the missions that have been formulated within the framework of Vinnova's initiative A new recipe for the food system: In 2035, the food system promotes a healthy life for everyone - in 2035, everyone eats new fermented food every day Krinova and SmiLe, together with the regional innovation ecosystem in southern Sweden, will carry out external, stakeholder and target group analysis. Based on the analyses, a concept will be developed for the innovation node and this concept will be tested and developed in collaboration with 3-8 foodtech companies. The project will contribute to the creation of better conditions for and strengthened innovation capacity in the business sector by actors in the food system coordinating and synchronizing activities so that the food system becomes more competitive and sustainable.
